Regarding Class Changes, Etc. As We Resume Services
Class Changes
As we have previously announced, classes will resume on August 23, 2020. Changes have been made in response to the Covid-19 situation. Some classroom settings have changed including the adult class that normally met in classroom 9 on Sunday mornings. This class will join the auditorium class on Sunday mornings. The ladies’ class that was meeting in classroom 9 on Wednesday nights will be joining the Wednesday auditorium class for the time being. The young adults’ class that was meeting in classroom 8 will now meet in classroom 9. Because of the size of the young adults’ class, it is asked that some members of that class (those over 30 years old) also join the auditorium class. Other changes in the classroom settings will be determined by Steve lands in conjunction with the classroom teachers.
For those that will be in the Sunday morning auditorium class a study of the Book of Revelation is planned. Books will be available at the front of the auditorium Sunday morning. Those who are not able to attend as yet because of the Covid-19 situation, but wish to join the study will be able to do so via live stream. Books for those persons may also be picked up at Camp’s pharmacy.
The Lord’s Supper
With our current format of observing the Lord’s Supper, concerns over the shortened time have been raised. In response, a PowerPoint presentation has been prepared that will help focus our minds on the purpose of the Lord’s Supper. This should allow adequate time to meditate upon the Lord’s sacrifice for us. Those men directing the prayers may still read Scripture or make brief statements concerning the Lord Supper at times indicated in the presentation. Questions and comments regarding these changes can be addressed to the elders.
