Jesus Christ - Only Way to the Father
Jesus said …”No one comes to the Father except through Me." (John 14:6). This is one of the most narrow statements in the Bible, but that is the nature of truth. It, is not politically correct to say there is an "only way," but Jesus did not teach "I’m okay, you’re okay." If there is an only way we need to follow it because the idea of political correctness originated with men, not God:
We are also told there is one mediator between God and man and it is Christ Jesus (I Tim.2:5). He is the only one who can bridge the gap between men and God for he was both God and man. If Jesus is the only way to the Father and the only mediator between God and men, then th at eliminates Mary, though she was a remarkably good woman. She was the mother of his humanity, not his deity. It eliminates any' dead 'saints for they, along with the rest of us, were humans only and have sinned (Rom.3:23). It eliminates Mohammed, Buddha, or any other religious leader.
Speaking of Jesus, Peter said "Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other.name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12), Jesus was the only perfect person, arid the only one who was both God and man, and is the only one who loved us enough to die and make our salvation possible. He alone has the authority to state the terms of our pardon.
